J.Crew is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Associate who has a passion for pitching, sample trafficking and executing innovative marketing strategies in a highly creative and measurement-focused environment. The associate will be supporting the Women’s/Men’s/Crewcuts/ as well as Special Projects  and events as parts of our brand.



Primary responsibilities include:


  • Editor Relationships
    • Oversee all sample cmmunication to editors and store teams
    • Manage cntacts in FashionGPS
    • Organize editr breakfasts
    • Manage editr gifting (and tracker) for credits
    • Execute Hliday gifting


  • Celebrity Relations
    • Oversee all sample cmmunication with celebrity stylists
    • Actively pitch prduct for red carpet dressing, etc.


  • Agency Partnership
    • Supprt strategizing, pitching, and reporting
    • Cntribute ideas to media and influencer lists
    • Create ne sheets and pull hi-res images and other assets
    • Maintain and rganize Google Drive folders


  • Event Planning
    • Cordinate with agency to plan and execute press events
    • Brief creative teams n invites and other collateral needed
    • Cntribute to guest lists and coordinate outfitting


  • Budget Management
    • Track all invices and payment within Coupa
    • Submit mnthly accruals to Finance
    • P-Card management


  • Press Recaps
    • Send weekly press recap emails t internal executive distro
    • Send HOTP emails fr celebrity coverage, product launches, and Group news



  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of directly related experience
  • Understanding of the J.Crew customer and passion for the brand
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational/Project Management skills required
  • Adaptability and multi-tasking capability, with solid time management
  • Thrive in an environment of changing situations and priorities 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and dynamically align to changing business conditions
