Lynchburg Distribution Center Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will assist in all aspects of planning, reporting, analysis and ad-hoc projects to support the Distribution Center, and will align to strategic initiatives. 


  • Responsible for Distribution Centers financial reporting, planning, and analysis – including reporting and forecasting of all operating expenses
  • Producing Weekly financial recap
  • Producing Monthly review for the Distribution Center
  • Actualizing budget forecasts
  • Adjusting balance of year forecasts based on changes in Building:
    • Volume changes – Inbound/Outbound/Returns
    • Service Level Agreements
    • Labor rates
  • Producing Cost Analysis scenarios for potential changes or improved UPH (unit per hour)
  • Cost Analysis on discreet labor changes (OT/PTO/Merit)
  • Monitors expenses through Coupa Reporting




  • Strong PC skills including Excel (expert level), Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create complex dynamic Excel worksheets
  • Build and manage complex financial models for forecasting business and analysis
  • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills - highly detail-oriented
  • Agile learner with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, and drive projects to completion
  • Ability to identify business trends and report on them
  • Manage multiple work streams simultaneously and prioritize deadlines
  • Capable of producing high-quality presentation materials for business partners
  • Ability to influence decisions and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Ability to think and act as a business owner - think big picture
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information
  • Connects complex operational metrics to financial results



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business and/or related field
  • 3 years' industry experience of increasing responsibility in Finance or a combination of education and experience that yields the required Finance knowledge, skills & abilities
  • Experience working with large data and developing scalable solutions for financial reporting and forecasting
  • Preferred retail or manufacturing/industrial, distribution center experience as an FA
  • Previous budget and forecasting experience is a must
