Summary

The Global Supply Chain Team is responsible for the operations and strategic direction of transportation and distribution of merchandise through J.Crew’s multi-channel supply chain.  The Supply Chain Coordinator (Supply Chain Analytics) will help gather and collate data from all areas with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain operations and efficiencies.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports for Supply Chain Teams
  • Understand how report data and sources are related; suggest and execute improvements to current reporting for efficiency of maintenance and utilization
  • Assist with ad hoc research projects for Supply Chain, as needed
  • Serve as a resource to Logistics and Operations partners for all data related projects
  • Support contract negotiation and analysis through data mining and quantitative analysis
  • Communicate identified saving opportunities through analytical research of current and historical rates and data
  • Communicate issues effectively and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Evolve existing tools for supply chain visibility based on experience and learnings from role
  • Partner with analytics team to achieve joint goals on outlined timelines

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience  
  • Supply chain and retail, especially fashion/soft lines, experience a plus
  • Microsoft Office skills required with strong Excel and Access skills preferred
  • Self-starter with good judgment and can proactively manage up where appropriate
  • Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations
  • Demonstrated partnership skills
  • Time management/prioritization and follow-up skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; approachable
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills

 

This role would work business hours and be salaried, full-time.
