Manager of Inventory Control


  • Manage and control the financial inventory function.
  • Manage a team of two direct reports. Responsible for talent management activities such as: hiring, promotions, transfers, training and development, providing regular direction and feedback on performance, disciplinary actions and preparing and delivering annual performance and salary reviews.
  • Help build our technology, people, and processes around ensuring the accuracy and valuation of our inventory while we develop standalone processes post separation from our parent company.  
  • Record daily/weekly/monthly journals relating to inventory.
  • Responsibility for the establishment, monitoring and enforcement of inventory control procedures including preparation of monthly accounting templates. 
  • Perform the monthly and quarterly close processes related to inventory, providing detailed cost of sales and margin analysis.
  • Oversee inventory counts and reconcile results to accounting records.
  • Assist with the annual audit, including working directly with external auditors and requests.
  • Drive for constant process improvement and system development to make the day to day job more efficient.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA
  • 3-5 years full time working experience
  • Strong technical accounting skills under US GAAP
  • Experience working with or auditing inventory
  • Love all things numbers with a high attention to detail
  • Microsoft Excel wizard
  • Eager to learn, develop and expand the role and your career
