We want you to…

  • Design and develop 4 seasonal woven dress and jumpsuit collections.
  • Manage creative and technical development of product within merchandise assortment strategy.
  • Research seasonal trends, silhouettes, fabrics, yarndyes, color, and embroidery. 
  • Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Production, Fabric, and Technical Design teams to achieve product execution and maintain design integrity.
  • Conduct fittings.
  • Create design cards for all development samples, including sketches, construction details, and layouts.
  • Manage approval of all fabric quality, wash, print, yarn dye, trim, thread, and lab dip submits.
  • Domestic and overseas travel for design research and product development.

 

 

Oh, and by the way, you…

  • 5 years minimum Design experience
  • High taste level, understanding of brand aesthetic, and creative ability
  • Ability to manage and develop an associate designer
  • Experienced technical knowledge of woven fabrics, construction, and details
  • Knowledge of seasonal silhouette, fabric, and color trends
  • Strong illustration and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to research and apply market and fashion trends
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently
  • Detail oriented and strong follow through
  • Strong organizational, communication, and written skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flex PLM, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • BA Fashion Design
