Network Analyst

Overview:  J.Crew is looking for a Network Analyst that will responsible for implementing and supporting the Network and Voice Infrastrusture to ensure high availabilitiy.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of network experience.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Build and implementation of network systems across the enterprise including stores.
  • Perform network infrastructure upgrades (including security patches) and routine hardware configuration.
  • Configure and support Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, Call Manager/Unity, ACS, ISE, VPN, Meraki.
  • Hands on implementing and maintaining HA and secure network architecture in AWS
  • Answer all trouble calls/emails and provide support, troubleshooting and resolve Network, Voice and Security related issues often under time constraints.
  • Participate in projects and maintenances.
  • Phone administration including deployment of phones to users, creation of new hire telephone and voicemail extensions and updating as needed.
  • Proactive monitoring of network devices and telephony systems.
  • Update and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
  • Assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for network and security best practices.
  • Participate in On-Call support rotation; provide 24X7 On-Call Support as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in implementing and troubleshooting network devices, including: Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Cisco wireless controllers, Cisco Meraki, ACS, ISE, Call Manager/Unity (VOIP), VPN, monitoring applications and scripting.
  • AWS Cloud network experience is a plus
  • Cisco or equivalent industry certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Visio
  • Knowledge using Network administration and monitoring tools:  SolarWinds and Netflow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizing multiple objectives, initiatives, and requests.
  • Ability to serve as technical lead on project team
