Sr Analyst - IT Assets

Overview: The Senior Analyst - IT Asset is responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within J.Crew Group. This includes planning, monitoring, and recording software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts. This position reports into a Senior Manager within the IT organization across J.Crew Group. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support IT Asset Management engagements that include maturity assessments, gap analysis, process improvements, tool selection, and implementation
  • Track, monitor and record software license and/or hardware assets across the organization.
  • Develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets throughout their lifecylces. 
  • Prepare deliverables and presentation material to clients in addition to leading client presentations and data gathering sessions to support IT Asset Management initiatives
  • Support the development of internal IT Asset Management training materials (processes, principles, and concepts)
  • Provide high quality professional day-to-day execution and oversight of various Asset Management (Software and Hardware) engagements including Software asset management current state assessments, software license optimization advice to leadership, and SAM tool implementations/integrations
  • Examine complex software license agreements and deployments to obtain license positions for various software vendors and to provide license optimization advice to our clients
  • Analyze JCrew's Software asset management processes, organization and tools to identify gaps and options for remediation
  • Project manage Software Asset Management/Hardware Asset Manager and IT Service management system implementations/integrations.
  • Understand and identify opportunities for J.Crew's practices and service offerings.


Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in an IT or Finance related field
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field
  • Understand the basic IT Asset Management principles from a physical, financial, and contractual perspective
  • Knowledge of IT Asset Management technology platforms such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Maximo, or Flexera preferred
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
