  • Leads, directs, develops Merchandising team from concept, milestone, and final assortment stages of product development
  • Drives higher level strategies such as print direction, color direction, and fabric platforming opportunities
  • Makes sure commercially viable product has the right price/value/fashion equation is delivered on time and drives increased earnings and profitability.
  • Identifies product opportunities and assesses product price position within the competitive landscape
  • Creates strong assortment architecture
  • May participate in development trips with design and production to ensure vision and intent are executed successfully
  • Communicate long-term and seasonal merchandising strategies to cross-functional areas
  • Creates marketing opportunities that are supported by merchandise investments


In Season 

        • Builds assortments that meet global and regional needs and deliver a single, efficient, detailed global assortment plan to Design
        • Partners with Design on product strategies and requirements to ensure customer needs are met, while remaining innovative
        • Partners with Marketing and Visual Merchandising to ensure consistent consumer experience through execution of cohesive product vision and linked to investment
        • Communicate the Division’s product development and marketing needs
        • Help lead the resource and succession planning activities for the Division
