Sr. HR Manager (HRBP)


Senior Manager, HR Business Partner- Lynchburg Distribution & Customer Care Center


Reports to:        Location:            Lynchburg, VA


Overview:           The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. The position will report to the Senior Director, HR Business Partner - GLoval SUpply Chain & Customer Care Center.   The HRBP will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. This leader will be an important member of their assigned leadership teams and be a contributor to the organization’s success.  Individual will be expected to be a change agent and ensure that people strategy aligns with the needs of the business.  They will also be expected to be a collaborative partner with the rest of the HR organization and act as a link to the business and associates.  Responsible for 500+ associates located in Lynchburg distribution center as well as remote home locations across the U.S.


  • Lead HR team to meet the needs of our on-site Lynchburg Distribution Center and Remote Customer Care team
  • Partner and drive the people agenda for the assigned business units in the areas of Talent Management & Development, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI+B), Non Exempt hiring, Employee Experience and Change Management
  • Lead, coach, and partner with leaders through people issues to be forward thinking about implications of people/ business decisions
  • Drive compliance, performance management, policies, and liaison to other HR functional areas.
  • Problem solve and resolve associate grievances and complaints
  • Policy interpretation and application
  • Analyze data and effectively make critical decisions, Present technical data and metrics in a clear and concise manner
  • Effectively resolve EEO complaints and litigation
  • Develop and implement nonexempt (peak) recruiting and retention programs
  • Become involved with community resources to support public relations, talent acquisition, and associate relations programs
  • Facilitate focus groups and other communication forums
  • Evaluate and discuss each direct reports job performance using objectives quarterly; identify, coach, train and promote HR associates with promotional potential
  • Other duties and responsibilities set forth by manager



  • 4 Year College Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related study, or 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • HR Certification preferred – SHRM CP
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Local labor laws
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required; Workday experience preferred
