The primary responsibility of a Human Resources Manager is to identify, develop, and implement Human Resources programs to support company’s mission and business plan.  The Human Resources Manager will support multiple functional groups and will work closely with leadership, the broader HR team, and individual associates.  


  • Problem solve and resolve associate grievances and complaints
  • Policy interpretation and application
  • Analyze data and effectively make critical decisions
  • Coach, lead and mentor teams to meet objectives
  • Effectively resolve EEO complaints and litigation
  • Develop and implement recruiting and retention programs
  • Become involved with community resources to support public relations, talent acquisition, and associate relations programs
  • Present technical data and metrics in a clear and concise manner
  • Stay current with all HR trends and issues
  • Facilitate focus groups and other communication forums
  • Evaluate and discuss each direct reports job performance using objectives quarterly; identify, coach, train and promote HR associates with promotional potential
  • Other duties and responsibilities set forth by Senior HR Director



  • A four-year College Degree in human resources management, business administration or related study, or three to five years of HR generalist experience
  • HR certification preferred
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required; some knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred
  • This job is primarily an office job.  However, the position may require light lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, grasping, bending, and stooping; climbing stairs as needed
  •  Stand, sit, walk/move for duration of work shift
